Though it had only been a few days since we last recorded, D.J. and Jeremy jumped back in the booth this past weekend to record a very much needed second #Pondcast episode of the new year. There was an exciting round of FA Cup magic to review, as well as some of the lingering matches from the Prem’s holiday fixture glut. Plus, things have remained straight chaos on the Western side of the Atlantic Ocean, so we needed to get dirty there, too.

And then there’s the small matter of US Soccer federation’s upcoming presidential election, which — like it’s full-blown governmental cousin — is shaping up to be a doozy. So we took some time to break down each of the candidates, including their strengths and weaknesses.
