International breaks are tough, what with the dearth of matches in the Premier League giving way to a smattering of appealing World Cup qualifiers and litany of uninteresting friendlies substituted in their place. But just because the Premier League was on break, that doesn’t mean the #Pondcast team was, too.

Jeremy and D.J. used the pause in (European) league action to tackle the recently closed summer transfer windows and highlight some of the key moves that dotted a far more busy deadline day. The guys also conversed about the US Men’s National team and their own World Cup qualifying campaign, ranted over the latest rendition of “This Week in American Soccer Conspiracy Theories” and did the normal weekly bits, too.
