The first two #Pondcast episodes of each year are a bit like feast and famine. The first episode is spent trying to cram upwards of five rounds of matches into one show, while the second show is left with just one round of FA Cup fixtures to chat about. Luckily, domestic matters picked up the slack in 2017 so that we don’t have a half show we’re trying to push into your feeds. Bruce Arena’s announced his first USMNT camp (for the second time) and plenty of people lost their minds about it. And US Soccer also finally ruled on Division 2 sanctioning which effects not only us locally with FC Cincinnati, but also lower league soccer across the country.

Oh yeah… let’s not forget that we had another WSOTP Podcast Derby to chat about too, even in Jeremy didn’t want to.
