For seemingly the umpteenth time in this young season, Video Assistant Referee was back in the wrong kind of spotlight this past weekend in England. This time around, it stung both D.J.’s Spurs and Jeremy’s Chelsea — and unsurprisingly, we spent some to chatting about the merits of the system once again. The rest of the Premier League’s weekend action was also stuffed in there, too. That includes City’s mauling of Watford, Arsenal escaping themselves and Aston Villa, and United’s continued downward spiral, among others. We also updated our MLS playoff picture before rounding out the show with the standard “Winners & Wankers” closing.
