Soccer was inescapable this past week. In the mornings, there was the Premier League to feast on — including Liverpool finally stumbling and a pile up of sides around the final Champions League places. In the afternoon and evenings, there was MLS week one to keep our cup’s full. And we didn’t even get the midweek off, as the Champions League served up a cornucopia of surprising results on the continent. And somehow we managed to squeeze it all into a single show.
